Dana Thompson and BeStrong Ministries is the newest addition to our supported missionaries. BeStrong offers free Bibles and study aids as well as articles on discipleship and the Christian life on their website. They are in the process expanding their ministries so please check out the website for the latest information.

Chris & Jeanette Sheeran Organization: Wycliffe Bible Translators
Chris and Jeanette Sheeran are life-long Wycliffe Bible Translator missionaries. They have worked in Central America for a few years before returning to North Carolina to oversee the email servers that service all Wycliffe missionaries, processing over 1.5 million emails every month.
Wycliffe recently relocated them back home to Spokane, WA with a new job description to mobilize new Bible translators. Chris and Jeanette speak in churches, to students and in other venues to make first contact with interested persons and to help prepare them as full-time missionaries.
Chris and Jeanette are some of our heroes. Please pray for them, that God would continue to use them in this important and necessary work.

Lois Broughton Organization: Foursquare Missions International
Having grown up in there, Brazil is not a foreign context for Lois. For more than twenty years, Lois has worked to disciple and evangelize the deaf community around her. With an estimated 20,000 deaf people in her city - Curitiba - alone, she understands the need clearly.
For the past two years, Lois has been partnering with Wycliffe Bible Translators in developing a sign-language translation of the Bible on DVD. She has facilitated training for several young deaf adults who joined her in this project. With such a monumental task in front of her with a translation unlike any before (printed translations often take years, even decades to complete), Lois and her team need your prayers and financial support. We are proud to partner with a missionary with this dedication and vision.

The Nelsons, back from four years of serving a budding church in Antwerp, Belgium, serve with their sending-church, Pullman Foursquare, in Pullman, WA. Far from returning to "normal" church work, they actively interact with and minister to students from around the world who are studying at Washington State University. Their focus on fellowship and discipleship provides unique opportunities for building relationships with international students. We are honored to continue supporting the Nelsons as missionaries to these students.

Rebekah & Ryan Shaddy Organization: YWAM (Youth With A Mission- Salem, Oregon)
Human trafficking is the number 2 criminal industry and the fastest growing crime in the world today. Trafficking in human beings is a modern-day form of slavery, "a brutal crime that steals innocence and destroys lives" as President Bush has said. Approximately 600,00-800,000 men, women and children are annually trafficked across international borders worldwide. And estimated 16,000 victims are trafficked into the United States. Today, literally millions of people are enslaved, forced to work in prostitution or the sex-entertainment industry - many of them young children - as well as other forms of labor exploitation.
Rebecca joined the YWAM staff in 2007 to be a part of an anti-trafficking initiative called the Freedom Project. She worked with the freedom project for about a year and a half. Now she is a staff person of a Discipleship Training School called D.T.S. Engage which has the same focus. She is newly married to Ryan Shaddy and they will be staffing this DTS and leading an anti-trafficking outreach team to the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

Terry & Sue Mayberry Terry and Sue have been missionaries with River of Life Ministries in Romania since February 2005. River of Life Ministries houses a variety of ministries including a woman & children care home, elderly ministry, medical missions, a local church, and more.
